We would like to thank our wonderfull audience who joined Yellow Blue Bus and Rhinestone Kozaks for an afternoon Celebrating the Sunflower

Ukraine's national flower.

Enriching its Ukrainian pulse are skilled musicians creating original compositions and unique interpretations of traditional tunes. Chances are that a Yellow Blue Bus gig will be the only time you hear a halo, cajón or taishogoto played alongside a bandura and a west African drum.

Rhinestone Kozaks once again roaming the steppes of the mighty Adelaide plains the Rhinestones hit up with the Hopes Cafe Gang. Bringing together an amalgam of Kozak & Cowboy tunes.

At the heart of it all is the SUNFLOWER -

the National flower of Ukraine standing proud with an almighty life force...

Yellow Blue Bus have been busy. Very busy…

Since the pandemic panic has ebbed, we have been writing and recording an album reflecting on the human condition and ruminating about war-torn Ukraine.

It has been more than 1000 days since the current invasion began. Some members of the band have been visiting Europe before it disappears. Others have been gardening or going to Glenelg. We have all been swimming…

Yellow Blue Bus invite you to listen to our latest musical journey:

УББ IV

released in late 2025.

featuring a fabulous instrument called Taishogoto and the amazing Shahi Baaja

The shahi baaja ("royal instrument") is an electrified and slightly modified version of the Indian bulbul tarang,
